Wilhelmina Jewell Sparks is the Chairwoman for the Food and FoodTech Platform of the Deutsche Startup Association, founder of the AgTech FoodTech Summit, and CEO of BiTHOUSE GROUP (Future Food Guide, Re;Code Food, #inclusionfactors, Innovation PopUp Hub, Retail Innovation Group, Future HealthRx, Coin Capital VC, Wearable Tech Couture). She currently lives in Berlin and Munich with frequent travel to New York and San Francisco. Jewell is an ex biologist turned strategic partnership / Corporate Startup Engagement (CSE) / innovation expert and has worked for companies such as P&G, Eli Lilly, Amgen and software startups prior to moving from San Francisco in 2013 to Germany. She scouts globally for innovative solutions and services that may be of value for corporate and government stakeholders, enhance internal processes, and add value to a society gone digital. Jewell is an active advisor/mentor/board member to several startups, accelerator programs and philanthropic initiatives focused on food, health, IoT, media, mobility, sustainability, arts and sciences. Her approach is inclusive and embraces the importance of all variables which have impact on the future of society and global communities.
